The Quixote arrives to watch Master Peter’s Puppet Show. There is told the story of Don Gaiferos’ wife, Melisendra, who were kidnap and kept in captivity by the Marsilio, the Moor King.  Gaiferos has to rescue her from the palace of the Moor, with the subsequent chaise. At that point, Don Quixote confuses fantasy with reality and destroys Master Peter’s marionette theatre and his marionettes, in his effort to save the fugitives.
