Guillaume Métayer is a literary historian, translator and poet. He has published poems in collections and magazines, translated into a dozen languages.He translates into French central European authors, both contemporary as István Kemény, Aleš Šteger, Krisztina Tóth, Andreas Unterweger, as well as romantic and modern poets, such as Attila József, Ágnes Nemes Nagy, Sándor Petőfi and even the complete poems of Nietzsche. He is a member of the editorial board of the magazines Po&Sie and Place de la Sorbonne and created the Centrale/Poésie collection at La Rumor Libre éditions.
