Anna Kissjudit
Anna Kissjudit studied at the Franz Liszt Music Academy in Budapest in the class of Prof. Katalin Halmai and Prof. Imola Pogány until 2020. During her singing studies she worked in various productions of the opera class, amount others in performances of Tchaikovsky's Iolanta as Marta, in Cesti's L'Orontea and as the Third Lady in Mozart's The Magic Flute. In 2017 she worked regularly with Prof. Thomas Quasthoff at the Hanns Eisler Academy of Music in Berlin as part of song courses.
Anna Kissjudit has successfully participated in several singing competitions. She won i.a. 2014 first prize in the József Gregor Competition, 2016 third prize in the Éva Andor Competition, 2018 second prize in the II Éva Andor Singing Competition and second prize in the X International József Simándy Singing Competition. In 2019 she made her debut at the Budapest State Opera as La Cieca in Ponchielli's La Gioconda. She also appeared at the Richard Wagner Days in Budapest together with Camilla Nylund, Catherine Foster and Johan Reuter in a production of Die Walküre under the musical direction of Ádám Fischer.
Since the 2020/21 season, Anna Kissjudit has been a member of the International Opera Studio of the Staatsoper Unter den Linden and a scholarship holder of the Liz Mohn Culture and Music Foundation.
