Victoria Leshkevich
From the 2023/24 season, Victoria Leshkevich es a member of the ensemble at the Staatstheater Braunschweig, where she sings Gutrune in Götterdämmerung, Mimi in La Bohème, Héro in Béatrice et Bénédict and Donna Anna in Don Giovanni, among others. In 2025 she will make her debut at the Theater an der Wien. Before that, the young singer was engaged at the Salzburg State Theater, with roles such as First Lady in Die Zauberflöte, Echo in Ariadne auf Naxos, Marianne Leitmetzerin in Rosenkavalier and Arminda in Mozart's La finta giardiniera. The Belarusian soprano Victoria Leshkevich studied conducting at the Belarusian State Academy of Music and was part of the Belarusian State Philharmonic Orchestra from 2014.
She then studied singing at the Anton Bruckner University in Linz. Since 2017, she has sung at the Tiroler Festspiele Erl as Berenice in Rossini's L'occasione fa il ladro, Helmwige in Die Walküre, Flower Girl in Parsifal, Sacerdotessa in Aida, Zaide and Bettina L'oca del Cairo, among others. She has worked with Gustav Kuhn, Patrick Hahn, Michael Güttler, Lothar Zagrosek, Leslie Suganandarajah, Gabriel Venzago and Sesto Quartini, among others. In 2021, she won first prize in the Prof. Dichler Competition at the Vienna Music Seminar.
