Ionuț Pascu

Musician and first soloist of the National Opera of Bucharest. He graduated from the Bucharest University of Music in 2001 and began his artistic career at the Constanța Opera at the age of 23, playing roles in Don Giovanni by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and La bohème Marcello by Giacomo Puccini. He has also played various roles in Il Trovatore Conte di Luna, Le nozze di Figaro Figaro, Madama Butterfly Sharpless, Cavalleria Rusticana Alfio, and Carmen Escamillo, as well as Die Fledermaus Dr. Falke and Eisenstein, Die Zauberflöte Papageno, and Das Land des Lächelns Gustl. He has made numerous tours of the Netherlands, Germany, Korea, Italy, Macedonia, Hungary. and Albania.

Since October 2005, the baritone Ionuț Pascu has worked at the Bucharest Opera. In addition to his singing career, he successfully completed his studies to become a conductor at the "G. Verdi" Conservatory in Milan.
In the 2007-2008 season he received a grant from the Time to Grow program of the Musiktheater Foundation of Central and Eastern Europe, sponsored by the Deutsche Bank Foundation and the Federal Ministry of Education, Art and Culture of Germany.
