Clémence Pernoud
Clémence Pernoud studied stage design at ESMOD International Paris. She designed her first costumes for Jean Bellorini at the Festival d‘Aix en Provence. There she met Vincent Huguet, with whom she has worked regularly ever since. Important works are Encor sur le pavé sonne mon pas nocturne for the Festival d‘Aix en Provence, Love I obey at the Scène Nationale d'Alençon at the Philharmonie de Paris and on tour in France; Poème Harmonique at the Opéra de Rouen, Les Voyages de Don Quichotte at the Opéra de Bordeaux, La vie parisienne and Les Contes d'Hoffmann, Les Histoires Sacrées de Charpentier with the Ensemble Correspondances, Werther at the Klagenfurt City Theater, Romeo et Juliette at the Lucerne City Theater, Die Frau ohne Schatten at the Vienna State Opera and Manon at the Opéra Bastille.
Works together with the director Ted Huffman with Le premier meurtre and Le Balcon at the Lille Opera. At the Festival d'Aix en Provence she worked with Eric Oberdorf for Ondrej Adamek's Seven Stones. At the Bordeaux Opera she designed the costumes for Pelleas à Mélisande directed by Florent Siaud and Philippe Béziat and for Die Walküre directed by Julia Burbach and Tal Rosner. She also works for cinema, short films and music videos such as The Flight of the Storks by Iris Kaltenbäck, Beach Boys and Flying Goal by Jérémie Sein, The Wild Animals and David Thibaut and Fictions by Laurent La Rosa.
