Sabine Devieilhe

Devieilhe studied cello, musicology and singing and graduated with a first prize from the Paris Conservatoire.
While a student she performed with ensembles including Ensemble Pygmalion, Les Cris de Paris, Les Arts Florissants, Les Musiciens du Louvre, Le Concert Spirituel, Orchestre de Paris and Orchestre National d’Île de France. Since graduating in 2011, her operatic engagements include Serpetta La finta giardiniera and Bellezza Il trionfo del tempo e del disinganno for Aix-en-Provence Festival, Serpetta in Toulon, the Queen of the Night Die Zauberflöte and Soeur Constance Dialogues des Carmélites for Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, Opéra de Lyon and Dutch National Opera, Lakmé for Opéra-Comique and in Marseilles and Avignon, the Queen of the Night for Paris Opéra, Euridice Orfeo ed Euridice for La Monnaie, Brussels, Adele Die Fledermaus for Opéra-Comique, Finta Nannetta Falstaff in Marseilles, Ismene Mitridate, re di Ponto for Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, Mélisande Pelléas et Mélisande in Tourcoing, Fire/Princess/Nightingale L’Enfant et les sortilèges for Glyndebourne Festival, Amina La sonnambula in concert for the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées and Blonde Die Entführung aus dem Serail for La Scala, Milan.
Devieilhe performed at the opening gala of the Paris Philharmonie and gives regular recitals of Lieder and French song. She is an exclusive recording artist for Erato, her discography including Rameau arias and Mozart coloratura arias.
